hi, i recently purchased a gc68 hsf and the stock fan it came with is quiet (28db, 32cfm i think). but i need something a little stronger while still being quiet. i don'ot know any online vendors to check really. right now, the temps are 22C, 28C, and 48C. i know the cpu is 48C but i'm not sure which of the other two is the motherboard and which is the case.

i have a 1.4TB, am i better off selling this and getting an xp chip that runs cooler? or do i just need a better fan?

first, note that those aren't particularly bad temperatures...though if you have the money, the XP's are faster so why not enjoy the power?

as for a fan reccomendation, how about an 80mm panaflo high? they are quiet enough and still provide some decent airflow...honestly, though, the temperatures you are showing aren't horrible...

22C = ambient temp
28C = case temp

i just bought this fan. it is the enermax manually adjustable case fan. i like it because it offers a lot of flexibility. when you need more cfm's, simply turn the variable resistor. if you want something more quiet, turn the resistor the other way. it offers 25 to 40cfm, so it's a nice range.
