Need suggestions for a high-end presentation projector

Hi folks,

I am looking for a projector that will be used primarily for presentations and training. It must also fulfill the following criteria:

Displays at a resolution of 1024x768 or higher
Is very portable (prefer something as light and compact as possible)
Is bright enough to operate well in a variety of lighting conditions (may have to compete with external light sources)
Supports presentation control via a remote control

Budget is not too much of an issue, but we'd like to keep the price under $5,000 - 6,000 or so.

I'd appreciate brand or model recommendations as well as brands I may need to avoid.

The projector forums at AVSforum are more geared toward home theater rather than buisness presentation, but is an invaluable resource for projector info.
