Need suggestion to buy New video card?

I need suggestion for buying a video card. but i don't know if it real worth buying 7800gtx instead 7800gt. i know 7800gtx has 24 pipes 7800 only had 20. i had the money now. the two choic are eVGA Geforce 7800GT and eVGA Geforce 7800GTX 256MB.

24 pin? You mean 24 pipes?

And look at this benchmark and decide if you think 5-15 fps difference from gt to gtx is worth the price. You can get a 7800gt for around $300. I dunno, is 10 fps more worth paying $579 instead?

Take a look at some benchmarks. There's not a huge difference between a gt and gtx, but there's a premium you'll have to pay to buy the fastest card.

I'd go for the GT, but that's just because I'm cheap 🙂

The GT is probably the best bang for your buck out there >X1800XL performance most of the time, while still cheaper (Granted the XL hasn't been out but what 3 days. Cant really say the same thing about the GTX vs. XT). IIRC Zip Zoomfly has it for 339 AR.

I would personally just buy a 7800GT.

If you want most bang for buck get a x800GTO2. Otherwise 7800GT/X is also good if you have more $ to spend.
