Need suggestion on upgrading HD with Ghost

I've just purchase a new Maxtor HD. But right now I have 2 HD on IDE1 and 2 CD/CDRW drive on IDE2. I don't want to buy ATA controller.
How can I replace the Master HD on IDE1 with the new Maxtor that I got ?
Can I use Norton Ghost to clone my old HD and transfer it's content (including OS) to the new one ? (and seems like nothing's change)
btw I use Win2k
