ok, so I'm trying to start small w/ selling on Ebay, and I"m getting really confused. I went to andale to do some research to see on the selling history on various items.....

luggage
mouse
video card
netgear router,

etc etc

At the end, when Andale printed the results, I see that the soem of the items were selling pretty good, they were just going up and down for the past 4 weeks...However, when it hits july, it went straight down.

Does this mean that the ebaying business sucks this month? Is this a red light for me to not try business? what do you guys think?

there are too many people selling generic stuff on ebay you'll probably make no real profit at all. You need stuff that's rarely sold on ebay to make a killing.

Von Dutch hats are doing well right now. :) In 9 hours I already had 4 bids and 4 watchers. :) Hmm... focus on an area that isn't too poluted wiht people already. Clothing is a big area, perfumes are also pretty popular. Items that you can buy wholesale and sell on eBay is one thing everyone is looking for...

so true, I need to sell something that everyone wants to buy. most of the time I have only 1 bidder for any of my auction. This bites, plus I'm spending more on advertising then selling profit. :(
