i'm on a tight budget and I've heard of asrock 775dual vsta/4core vsta but the pci-e card is only 4x

I'm upgrading my sempron 2400+ socket a so I'm thinking of upgrading slowly.. like replacing the mobo and cpu so in short I need a mobo that will support agp, and ddr 400 but will be able to run core 2 duo chip in the future.

I'm also thinking of putting celeron d (for cheap sake and in case of upgrade to e6000 series cpu)

another option would be amd S939 path.

any suggestions for dual mobo's like asrock?

Summary: The board is a good, budget stopgap solution for people who want to get more life out of their DDR and AGP stuff. DDR400 is still fine for today's applications, and only high end graphics cards will be affected by the 4x speed of the 16x sized pci-e slot, but not by much (only 10% performance hit). Though its only 4x, its still good enough for midrange cards, and high end cards won't see much of a performance loss. What do you expect for 58 bux? lol.
