Its been a year or two since I've been heavy into building pc's

I need the best bang for the money.

This pc will only be used for email, surfing web, light use of MS office applications.


AMD or INTEL

Which socket, cpu core, ect. will be the best.
 
socket am2, x2 3600+ 1gb of ddr 2 533mhz, and you're done. If you can find a good combo it should be quite cheap. Intel e2160 is an option too, but I think those mobo's come slightly more expensive.
