I am putting together another system for a friend, using the Asus A7V133 and an OEM 1.2Ghz 266Mhz bus Thunderbird. I was just wondering what you guys recommend for cooling this beast? I need a quiet HSF combo. I was thinking about the Alpha PAL6035 setup. I was going to get it here. I was told that the fan that comes with this unit is quiet as well. It's going in an Antec SX1040 case with (4) 80mm Antec fans, so I'd like to keep the quietness consistent. I currently use a FOP38 in mine, but that thing is damn loud! Rest assured, I use Arctic Silver on ALL of my computers, so no worries there. I keep hearing Taisol coolers are good? Would they keep this processor cool? Also, are they quiet? The Alpha was around 20dBA, if I remember correctly, so that is very quiet.

Thanks.

The Taisols are pretty quiet IMO, not sure if they're quiter than an Alpha with a quiet fan, though...

if you do go with a taisol, go wtih the CGK742092 model.
