well when i built the system it was my first build. I was dumb to think 32bit was a more stable OS. now i know i have windows 7 professional that came with the 32 bit and 64bit disk under one key. can i update to 64bit anytime now?
And Ive been using windows 7 32bit now for 6 months.
What is the update process? and do i back up my current windows 32bit on a extrenal hard drive?
sorry need detailed steps still a noob.

There is no path to upgrade from a 32-bit installation to a 64-bit one. You'll have to reformat and reinstall.
