Hi all,

I am looking for 240-256GB SSD with a main purpose as a storage for my virtual machine home lab that I run on VMware workstation 8. Thanks to 32GB of ram, I am looking to have at least 10 VM's constantly running and hitting the storage in one way or another (some VM's will be nested, and some of the SSD space will be carved out as an iSCSI storage)

I have started reviewing the subject and came down to 2 SSD's that fit the bill and look overall very good:

http://www.microcenter.com/product/...lid_State_Drive_(SSD)_with_Marvell_Controller

or

http://www.microcenter.com/product/..._(SSD)_Desktop_Kit_with_3-core_MCX_Controller

Does anyone have any comments on the above drives or any other recommendations? Is now a good time to buy? Are there any new SSDs around the corner that would warrant waiting a month or two? I am definitely not in such rush and would be willing to wait knowing new and better things are just weeks away.

I appreciate any input.
Thank you
