GF needs a new pair of speakers.
Her's pick up local radio stations. New ones must not.
2.1 prefered set up.
Any suggestions?
Thank you.

look into getting shielded cables, or get magnetically shielded new set. I assume she doesn't need anything good, ala logitech or klipsch?

Yeah, doesn't need anything super nice. Just music and no radio.

The wiring ofthen acts as a radio antenna. An AM signal turns into a faint electrical pulse that the speakers turn into sound. My phones used to get this problem.
