need something to replace my dying 8600gts

Well my EVGA 8600GTS is on its way out so i need something to replace it. The replacement has to be in the same price range as well as a little better than the 8600gts. I'm kind of leaning towards ATi but i haven't done much research on them and wanted here your guys suggestions!

a little better would be oc this... msi 8600gts diamond plus for $115 shipped ar with free witcher game...

i oc'd mine to 850/2300, and it generates great numbers for a 8600 (over 6k 3d06's) with a x2@2.5ghz...

i got a 8600GTS BFG OC2 with a 3800+ x2 @ 2.8 running over 7k in in 3d06

Wow, that video card didn't last long! Are you sure its on its way out already? Your not going to get anything much better at the same price range (assuming its a little over $100). The next step up would be an XHD3850 or 8800GS
