i need something to run a mouse cable through to prevent the mouse from leaving its workstation. the computers in question are imacs, (the old crt kind) and i'm tired of replacing mice. tia

get a tiny padlock so neither end of the mouse can go through the loop? then tie it to a cable which you can tie to something else?

get some of those industrial staples and staple the cord down to the desk, maybe at the back with just enough cord left out to use them.

Open the mouse and drill a hold in the bottom. Put a screw through it into the desk... ?

Open the mouse and put a tiny receive in it connect it to a small battery. Add a transmitter to the doorway so when the mouse leaves the room it shocks the person rendering them unconscious then pick up the mouse with a sick or something and bring it back into the room.

Or the tiny lock thing sounds good to me.

Go to your local hardware store and hunt down some small pipe clamps. Screw them in with a fastener that uses a non-standard head.
