Need something to capture video onto computer

I wanted to record Xbox 360 gameplay to my computer in good quality, possibly HD. I was leaning towards a HAVA Platinum HD, but then saw that it wasnt actually HD and had the question whether or not it would lag when I was playing (because the video would have to go through the box)
I am open to all suggestions and am looking for something that can take video inputs (my xbox is the RGB wires (dont have HDMI)) and record them to my computer (which i am building; it is good enough) I saw that you can record TV with the HAVA, and I would really like it if I could do that. Suggestions?

Any video carture device or card you get for your PC will have some lag. So game play will be effected. Most cards have no problem with HD input and diplaying HD on your monitor but they generally record at a much lower resolution. Your best bet may be a DVR for your TV.
