Need something that cools only 1 can of soda

I'm not allowed to have a fridge at my desk.

I'm looking for something that makes 1 can of soda cold. i've seen ads of them during xmas, but i havent got the foggiest idea what's it called.

Anyone help? LINK?

at your desk? what i would do is just fill up the trashcan with ice from the ice machine, and stick my coke in there

You can get a cheap-ass mini cooler that is designed to go in a vehicle. (Has a cig lighter adapter, but could be easily modified.) I've seen them at Wal-Mart and Harbor Freight for approx $40

You might be able to find one in the FS/FT forum, people use them for high end OC setups with H20 systems for CPU cooling, or at least they used to.

Just get one of those little plug-in coolers designed for the car (they use a Peltier junction ). They sell at Target and similar stores. Many include an AC adaptor as well as the cig-lighter cord.

I saw this at a Sharper Image when I was doing the Christmas shopping awhile back. This thing is perfect, and it will even heat also for coffee, etc..

In the army we used to chill soda cans by dipping them in and out of diesel fuel. You can try that in your office.
