I have a dial-up mindspring account I can acces through my comcast high speed service. (www.springmail.com). Is there something similar for sending and recieving email through AOL without using their software?
Bottom line is I don't want to install AOL software on my pc but I need to set it up so someone with an AOL account can access their email.

tia.

Just go to aol.com, you can check email from any AOL account from their front page. just sign in there.

No. I'd rather not sit on hold for an hour and talk to someone that probably will not even help me since I don't even have an aol account. I'm sure someone here has encountered this before.

Not looking back because you don't like dialup? Or not looking back because you have the newest version of AOL? ;) :p
