I have a Netgear Wireless router, a WGR614 v2 along with 3 computers on its network (wirelessly).
Anyway I want to set up so that all three, and possibly 4 computers to share files. The fourth will possibly be a 'file folder' so to speak that will store important downloads and nothing else except for when I need to retreive files and or programs.
I do not want others outside of my network to have access to my files, or internet. I already seen that people are attempting to leach off of me. But I set up my router to only authorize approved MAC addresses, so they are getting nowhere.
But how do I go about getting what I want set up without having the server set up as that is only a plan for the moment?
