When trying to connect my new computer (XP pro) to an already established ad-hoc network that I set up using an XP Home computer as the server and a 2000 laptop as a client, the new computer refuses to connect. It is not a firewall issue, as I disabled that; all the passcodes are correct, using the correct workgroup name, the other computers can "see" the new one on the network but they can't share files, printers, or internet connections. When I double click the new computer's name from the server, it gives me a "network path not found" message EVEN THOUGH I CAN PING THE NEW COMPUTER!!!???!!! WHATS GOING ON??? Thanks for any help.

If you are actully connected then the problem is the Wireless but your sharing settings.

Log to this page it has a lot of links to instructions to Windows Network Settings, and Sharing.

Link to: Windows Network - Installing & Sharing.
