It has been 3 or so years since my last actual "I am getting away and not dealing with anything" type of vacation. Even worse, it has been about 10 years since my wife and I have been able to get away for any length of time... just the two of us. What I am thinking is maybe a Carribean cruise, but I just don't know. Cruises seem to be the best bang for buck. I am just wanting to be sure to get really good ports and such. Anyway, what we are looking for is warm weather, scantily clad people, and no stupid kiddies around us... meaning dumbasses on spring break. The first one that tried hitting on my wife I would have to kill, and I don't feel like going to jail at this point in my life.

Oh yeah, price needs to be fairly reasonable... I have obligations with my house and such and don't need to spend excessive amounts of cash on this trip.

Thx in advance.

If you don't want kids and college students, your only bet is:

A) Expensive cruise
B) Companies that cater to the older crowd.

We went on a Holland America this January and it was an older crowd, but not too bad. It was quiet though, which is what we wanted. Last year we went on a Royal Caribbean and it sucked because of the kids. Parents think that because you are on a ship, they don't need curfews. They would crowd around the stairs and sear constantly. Very annoying.
