I was looking to do some upgrading but have two paths I can take.
Current system specs in sig....
The first path is I upgrade my Dragon plus to a Abit AN7 or the Abit NF7-S since it a little cheaper.
The second path is upgrading my memory. Right now I have 1 stick of Corsair XMS 512MB PC2700 and 1 stick of kingmax 256MB PC2700. Was thinking of taking the 256mb stick out and replacing it with another Corsair 512 stick.
If I go the motherboard way, I could use the dragon plus and the 256MB stick I have to upgrade another computer that using old PC133 stuff but if I do this my system will only have 512 MB of ram then.
If I should go the memory way, would it be safe to just get the same stick or should I get say PC3200 instead or get there Low Latency version of PC2700 so there isnt any problems with ram timings?
Suggestions?
