LinkSys NH1005 5-port 10/100bT e-net hub. Does anyone use one of these? If so what is the DC power requirements of this hub. I have one, but no AC wall adapter for it, (a friend gave it to me). He has one of those "Multi-jack/Multi-voltage dual polarity I bought it at Wal-Mart," AC to DC converters, but I'm afraid to use that. I don't know what voltage, and at what amperage, this thing uses for proper operation. If anyone could be so kind as to provide me with this information you would be helping me end a grueling search on the internet for any sort of tech data concerning this hub, and would also be providing the last bit of information standing in the way of me getting my other computer in the internet. ;)

Thanks.

I have the 8 port 10/100 version EFAH08W version 2.0. It uses a +3.3V 3A supply. I looked at the website and cant find your model anywhere.

The online docs show this:

Power
EFAH05W 7.5VDC, 1 A
EFAH08W 5VDC, 3-6 A
EFAH16W 5VDC, 3-6 A
EFAH16 90-250VAC, 50-60Hz
EFAH24 90-250VAC, 50-60Hz

The manual that came with my hub (just got it) says this:

Power
EFAH05W 3.3VDC, 3 A
EFAH08W 3.3VDC, 3 A
EFAH16W 5VDC, 3-6 A
EFAH16 90-250VAC, 50-60Hz
EFAH24 90-250VAC, 50-60Hz

Maybe the difference is the version 2?

I would call then or send them an email and ask.
