My mom mentioned earlier that she'd like some sort of family tree software for Christmas this year. I don't really know anything about this sort of thing, I tend to stick to games and office apps when purchasing software 🙂.
I did a little googling, and found the Family Tree Maker program, but from reading some Amazon reviews, the initial program often suggests you buy/subscribe to their Data CD program, and sometimes the data CDs aren't at all helpful.
Has anyone tried Family Tree Maker? Any suggestions on other programs? I'm completly clueless here, so any help is much appreciated.
