Need some SSD help

I reassembled my PC using a Z68 MB I bought (I had to return my defective P67 MB recently) and I thought everything worked fine. In fact, my machine booted up on first try and worked perfectly.

I just got home and my PC had rebooted and a boot drive missing error displayed. Every time I reboot, my PC either says boot drive missing or it goes into check disk mode and blue screens at 57%. Once in a while it will boot up into windows but will crash after a while. I turned off OCing on my MB to stabilize the PC but for some reason the MB still OCs the clock to 103mhz. Is this a problem with a messed up SSD or does it sound like some other problem. I really have no clue what is wrong right now. With my previous Asus P8P67 Deluxe MB, everything was fine. When I booted up with the Asus P8Z68 Pro MB for the first time, things worked fine. Could something have happened to the SSD like a power outage to wreck it?

Sorry about the rambling post but I'm a bit distracted with trying to fix this.

Thanks,

DD

OCing can affect everything. If you can, plug your SSD into another computer and do the chkdsk. Luckily since the majority are 2.5" it's easy to plug it into an external USB enclosure.

I took out the battery from the MB to reset it and tried rebooting but I still get the same errors and blue screen. I gave up and formatted the drive but it still doesn't work for some reason. Could this be a bad drive? It was working for the last 2 months in my P67 setup with no problem. I may have had a power outage while I was away. Could this have screwed up my drive?
