ok here is my dillema
i need an A64 socket 939 that can use and utilize ecc memory, not a board that simply says its compatable with ECC memory, or i need a single/dual processor 940 board that is not too expensive that uses a regular ATX power connector
any suggestions, i'm going to be using this as a workstation mostly for long number crunshing runs (30-60 hours a piece) so i need ECC
any suggestions? also i'm only going to be using one processor under RH linux v4 for x86-64 so everything needs to be out of the box compatable, also the software i'm using charges by the cpu, and 1 cpu is only $500 but 2 is $5k
