Alright, I'll soon be building the Dually SETI machine lsited in my rigs (see sig), and I need some recommendations, as the title would suggest. Here's what I need:
- How much RAM? Will 256MB be enough, or do I need 512MB? For now, all this thing will be doing is SETI. The RAM will for sure be good quality CAS2, but that's all I've decided yet, it will probably be Crucial though because it's so cheap.
- What do I need for a PSU? It doesn't have much to power, just the components listed there.
- Cooling... Will 2 80mm fans (1 intake, 1 exhaust) do the trick?
- I know I need a floppy drive, but I don't think I need a CD-ROM, do I?
- Have I missed anything?
Oh, lastly, does anyone have any idea how well cB0 866s overclock? Like I said, I've got the Abit VP6 mobo, but only retail HSFs. I'm hoping to at least get a few extra MHz out of them
