Need some Ram Advice

I will be buying an Epox 8K5A Mobo shortly, along with an athlon 1600+ from newegg.
Now, i am wondering if it would be better to pair this with one stick of 512 crucial 2700 cas 2 or the other option is 2 sticks of KingMax 3200 256 meg cas2.5. just fyi, i'm *hoping* to get the proc to go on a 200 mhz bus....or at least attempt it 🙂. regardless, which ram do you think would give me better results (i'm leaning toward kingmax, but only slightly)

Single sticks are easier to OC from what I've read.

200mhz FSB? You should worry more about your AGP/PCI bus than your ram speed.

The Epox 8K5A mobo has the 1/5 pci divider, so he shouldn't have to worry too much about the pci or agp bus. Let 'er rip. 🙂

PC2700 (DDR333) QTY (2) 256MB sticks either directly from Crucial or the Samsung from NewEgg.
If you get any of the 'OTHER" trick "Eye-Candy" brands, you'll just be paying extra for Samsung anyway.
There is an article on OCPrices.com that gives you a little heads up about RAM sellers.

I know the Flame-boys will jump on me again, defending their expensive purchases. Someday they'll learn. (But not today)
