right some of you may remember i was swapping 2x7800GT SLI for a single Radeon X1900XT, i did this because i was handing down my computer to my brother (for a small fee) and wanted to give him something with a bit more longevity. the 512mb X1900XT fit the bill perfectly and i made about £50 profit
now hes decided he doesnt want the computer, so my dad said he would have it. but my mother saw through this plan as it would end up with my brother technically getting full use of it without paying lol
anyway ive sold a gig of ram, the PSU, sound card, tv card and the rest is goin to my dad. i planned a seasonic 430watt PSU and a 7300GS as replacements to make the computer fully functional
however, the 7300GS really isnt very good at games, an my bro said he would still want to play the occasional CS:S guild wars etc.
so hes agreed to buy a better GPU. if he wants to play games he has to buy the hardware. he has a 9500pro atm

budget £70 - 80
for that i can purchase the following
NEW : XFX 7600GS 500mhz core, 900mhz mem, 128bit mem interface to 256mb of DDR2.
£70.60 (inc vat) its fanless and has dual DVI
the 7300GT can be had for round about the same money, and i heard its actually faster than the 7600GS (though the XFX card has nice clocks)
NEW: Radeon X1600Pro same clock speeds as above, same interface, same amount of DDR2 £64 (though from what ive seen the 7600GS even beats the X1600XT!)
USED: well lots of choice
used X800GTO's X800's and even X800XL's and X800XT's can be found on ebay for the budget. also theres a 6800XT though i would think its better to get a 7 series
so what would be the best choice? im personally leaning toward the XFX 7600GS.
