Hey there.. can you help me remove the white background from the logo on my picture? Or tell me how to do this? I really appreciate this.

Thanks! 🙂

Give me link.

Should i post a link to my photoshop doc or jpeg?

Well you could send me the PSD if you want and I can remove the white for you. If you want to do it yourself, the quick and dirty way is just use the magic wand. But in the case that it won't work(other white parts you don't want removed), you could use extract and go through the tedious task of removing it yourself.

Also, when making things like logos, I suggest starting with a transparent background, then you wouldn't have to worry about this later 😛

get the high res transparent version of the logo, resize and add to your pic

don't waste time getting rid of that white background

Okay, how did you do that??? i've been trying for the past hour!!! you are awesome!!

Please tell me if you have time. Thank you 🙂

One way would be to change the mode to Indexed Color, wand and delete the white spots, then save as a gif...not sure how malak did it

1. Choose the magic wand tool
2. Select the white background
3. Right click and select the inverse
4. Cut
5. Create new image, using the dimensions it already sets(takes the dimensions from the clipboard where your image is, it's smart like that)
6. Paste
7. .....
8. PROFIT!

okay, one last thing.. how would i remove that tan background from behind my pic.. so that the image size is just my picture without the background? Does that make sense? Sorry if i'm not more descriptive.

Keep at it. I never took a class, learned most of what I know just fiddling with PS. It's fun once you find your way around PS.
