Need some opinions

Ok, so I'm debating getting a laptop skin because my laptop is so plain and boring. But then there's a few things that I might cut around with the skin itself.

Ok, so three choices are...

1. Use the skin and cover everything up.

2. Use the skin but cut holes in it for the Hypersonic logo and that darker gray thing.

3. Don't use a laptopskin, be happy in your dullness.

See the thing with #1 is that it would feel wierd if it was all covered up because those two things are higher then the rest of the laptop. But it would look wierd if I cut them out I think.

So, post your choices and voice your opinions. I am open to other things as well, just tired of having a dull laptop and I couldn't front $400 for an airbrush job!

Dullness is fine and all, but if not the skin, any other ideas?

i say lightly sand it and paint it yourself

Skins arent all that nice. It'll look like a scuffed up dirtied and defaced american flag with rips, scratches and faded places before you know it. Just keep it grey so when it's scuffed up, no one will really notice.

If you do put anything onto the laptop either skin or paint make sure that it can withstand the abuse that a laptop will get in its day to day life. Scratched and dinged grey plastic hides its scars much better than bright glossy colours.

Well yeah, never thought of that. Just getting tired of the ole gray and it just needs something...anything...
