Need some opinions on some upgrades

I was thinking of upgrading my CPU and Video Card. Since the good Video cards are PCI-e that means i would have to replace my AGP only motherboard.

Here what i was thinking of upgrading my rig with:

ASRock 939SLI320-eSATA2, Opteron 146, and an 7900GT

This will cost around $590. Any one have any other suggestions that would be around this price range or should i just wait for the DX10 cards and Conroe to come out.

You're rig is still great, I would wait for the prices going down. Don't let the upgrade bug dig deep in your brain . Unless you're really really really really want to. For me , no.

I'm still happy with my Sempron 3100+ / x850xt agp/ 2 x 1 gig Mushkin XP4000 right now

I guess it would be better to wait. Then i could just get rid of my T-Bird rig.

Why would you upgrade and still use Socket 939?

nah man wait, ur comp is still pretty high quality.

wait for the AM2's and conroes to come down, then buy your ******.

Personally I wouldnt wait for DX10, but thats just me
