Need some opinions on Sennheiser's gaming headsets

I've been searching for some headsets for CS, gaming, music, and DVD's. I'm leaning toward sennheiser's pc 160 or 165, but I have some questions.

1. How comfortable are they with glasses?
2. What's the difference between the 160 and 165 besides the integrated sound and usb connector?
3. How good is the isolation? I don't want to bother anybody near me when I crank the volume. I think it would be nice if they couldn't hear anything from 2-3 ft. This is very important to me.
4. These headsets are for gaming. How good are they for music?

Also, I found this on Sennheiser's site

"Open speaker system for true-to-life sound. An open speaker system much like that of Sennheiser's open headphones, much loved by Gamers the world over, ensures a totally realistic sound. Unbeatable for Gamers."

What's that?

These are for gaming primarily so anything too expensive isn't suited for the task. Also, I need something <$100.

Do you really need an attached mic? If not, you'd be looking at a ~$100 pair of closed headphones and a separate clip-on microphone. $100 closed headphones are very popular on these forums, but it's mean to just tell people to search, so here's the shortlist:

Audio-Technica ATH-A500
Sennheiser HD201 (much better than their price tag indicates)
Sennheiser HD280
Sony MDR-V6/7506

If you want <$100

Headset - Sennheiser PC150's ($42.88 at ecost shipped)
Headphones - Sennheiser HD280's...

If music interests you much, I'd go with a standard set of phones and if needed, a standalone mike - the latter can cost as little as $5-$10.

I don't like clip-ons too much though I won't use the mic too much. I prefer headsets, but headphones are ok.

I found the HMD-280 which is a mic version of the HD-280 so it all works out nicely, but I don't know if the HD-280's are suited for games considering many headphones for music are not good for games. So.. will I be able pinpoint footsteps in Counter-Strike with the Sennheiser HD-280?

I've had two sets of them and they worked great. To bad they both broke after 6 months of constant use. I now have a set of Altec Lansings.

I don't know who told you this, but it's not true. Hi-fi headphones are, with a few exceptions (there are always exceptions), good in games. As a rule, though, gaming headphones and headsets suck at music.

Really? I thought that most good headphones were made so you would hear the source coming from a certain point. Music is one of those things for which directional sound unnecesary.

I'll keep that in mind.
