I've got an old huge tower and am looking into sff to save a lot of room. when looking into this, i'm primarily concerned with the noise... i want something quiet. is this possible with a sff?
I'm not a gamer, and I don't do heavy video processing. primarily web development (programming, photoshop, flash...etc)
So what parts do i have? i've got a passive sapphire radeon 9600, and an AMD 2600.
With this in mind, I am looking at the Biostar iDEQ 210 (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16856115014)
I am curious of a few things:
1. Any horror stories on this box? quite loud?
2. Any other reccomendations? - a shuttle? (i've read of some issues with shuttle)
3. I'm not against moving up to AMD64, however, the price doesn't look like it would be worth it. am i right on this? i'm also figuring this would induce more heat which would bring more fans/noise.
Thanks in advance!
Tyler
