Need some newborn kitten help

All of my 6 8-day-old kittens have opened their eyes. One has something that I am not sure of though.

One of its eyes is completely open and the other is only partially open, less than 1/2 way; and it appears that it will not open further because the two lids seem almost attached.

It may sound dumb but this is the first litter of kittens I have ever dealt with, but is this normal and will the eyelids separate or is this something for the vet? It does not seem to have any crust or infection around the eye.

I would appreciate any input.

When my gf's kittens were born, she said one of the cats had one eye not fully opened. Give it a couple days and then start to worry

Rule of thumb here is two to three days after the opening of the first eye. After that, the kitten may be blind, or may not have an eye at all. We had a kitten with only one eye, it's okay, though. The eyelid just keeps shut.

Also, DO NOT PRY THE EYELID OPEN!!!!!!!!!! I cannot emphasize enough how much you cannot do that. There are not enough exclamation marks in the world to notify you to. Not. Do. That.

I had no plans of opening the eye. I just wanted to check because my daughter was asking.

How can I post pics here. Never done it before.
