My current system is:
GA-P35C-DS3R
2.66 GHz E6750
2gb RAM
EVGA GTX260
For some reason my RAM keeps going bad in this system. I've RMA'd it several times and made sure the BIOS settings were compatible with the RAM. I'm not overclocking anything. I've gotten to the point where I'm sick of trying to figure out whether it's the RAM supplier or the motherboard that's causing the issues and I'm thinking of swapping the motherboard out when I order some new RAM from a different manufacturer.
Which brings me to my question... I'm more than a little confused by the chipset options available and I could use some advice on where to look for a good solid motherboard.
Some other information that might help you guide me in the right direction: I'd like to keep the video card, and processor if possible. I don't see myself going to an SLI or Crossfire setup any time soon if ever. I don't plan to overclock, but I don't mind having a tweakable BIOS, even if I just leave it alone. Mainly I just want good bang for the buck performance and rock solid stability.
Thanks in advance for any advice and suggestions!
