Okay, I'll start off by saying I don't know jack about Macs. Someone I know picked up a used iBook off eBay and asked if I could connect it to the wireless router. My best judgment says the iBook does not have an internal wireless adapter, I found an Airport configuration section but there was nothing at all to configure. There's no panels to unscrew to look for accessories, nor is there even any identification on the dang thing to look up a model number! It's white, has the apple logo, the word iBook, and usb slots, that's all I know.

If I could get some advice on what I need and how to install it, I'd be very appreciative.

You need to figure out what specific iBook model it is (there are a lot of iBooks) then track down the appropriate Apple part for it. Use the System Profiler along with the Apple History DB If it's a newer iBook, it's going to take this miniPCI card.

Best I can tell I think it's a G3. So that would make it *not* a newer iBook. :( The nearest Apple store is about an hour's drive.
