Where are you carrying all these things around to?

I imagine you could leave a majority of the cables in your car if you have one (don't know your situation).

I dunno, all my stuff stays charged all day long, so I don't see the need to bring charging cables along, unless you forgot to charge the night before. The gps could be locked in the glove compartment of your car, don't need to carry around with you all day long.

I love my manhattan portage man bag, Europa Messenger Bag (1439). The DJ Bag (1428) looks nice too, but it's too square for my taste. Timbuk2 is overpriced and ugly.

not a small handful of gadgets....cut back what you carry, and use pockets, OP. srsly.

I've started accumulating/using various gadgets and i need some way to carry them all. my pockets are getting overcrowded and some stuff i just can't fit into a pocket to carry around comfortably all day.

Cell phone
BT Headset
MP3 player
TomTom
flashlight
pocket knife
various cables for the above mentioned items

I bought a Maxpedition Versipack Fatboy but I don't like it, mainly because the strap is too short (even after adjusting it all the way it can go).

I'm not sure what else is out there that's pretty decent. The Fatboy was $62.95, so something a bit less expensive would be good too.

Any suggestions?

Couldn't you get a back pack with a lot of compartments? It's difficult to find a man bag that doesn't look like a purse.

There is only one kind of man bag.

funny. i just ordered a maxpedition jumbo versipack this past weekend. from everything i read these suckers are built like tanks. at this point u might as well spend the extra on the extension since a new bag will cost at least as much. i looked at a lot of bags and these really look like the best - from function to aesthetics - if you can keep it, i'd do it.

man bags are fine. i think most people that cant get a grip on a smaller messenger bag for guys not being effeminate are probably not exposed to an urban and pedestrian lifestyle.

if you put lipstick and mascara in your man bag then i can see their point, but besides that, it really has no merit. nowadays with all these gadgets we have, its nice to have a lil daytrip bag that makes everything easily accessible without removal.
