I've been out of the hardware loop for a while, and am considering building a new system. I need some input on this configuration if you don't mind.
athlon 1.2ghz 266
msi kt7266 pro
ibm 60gxp 40GB
plextor 16x cdrw
visiontek geforce2 ti
512 crucial ddr
creative audigy mp3+
nec 19" FE950+BK
fong kai FK-320B case
entire sys shipped comes to 1200-1300. Any thoughts on what to add/take out? Or is the list good to go?
couple notes, system will not really be a gaming rig. primarily for general usage as well as processor/memory intensive tasks ie compiling, database testing, ton of burning... as well as less intensive tasks like divx, coding, etc.
