It appears tons of OEM providers have these Media Center editions. However I am unable to really find the specs of one.

What is required to turn your regular PC into a Media Center. Obviously a Retail/OEM copy of WinXP Media Center.

However Hardware wise is there anything required over the standard:
CPU/MOBO
RAM
VID/Sound cards
Ethernet able (NIC/Onboard)

For example: Do you need a TV tuner card? Or does the Win XP emulate it?

You cannot emulate a TV tuner, you need a tuner in the machine, it is stated in the specs on MS' website.
