Need some info underage drinking laws in CA.

The legal age to purchase alcohol in CA is 21. However, is it illegal for an 'adult' aged between 18-20 to drink alcohol? How about on private property such as someone's home?

i think it might be illegal to knowingly give alcohol to a minor. when we were minors in college, we had a homeless person who use to hang out at the local liquor store buy us our alcohol ( we would buy him a beer) until the cops arrested us for minors in possesion and arrested him for distributing alcohol to a minor ( or some other law).

also, if you are a minor and caught driving under the influence, say goodbye to your license for at least a year.

when you write 'minor' do you mean under 18 in college (as some students enter college before 18)? or under 21?

Not everywhere. Not in NJ, I know that. Your parents can legaly give you alcohol.
