Need some info to RMA a chip

Hi all,
I am trying to RMA a chip to Intel and they need info that another P3 chip above 600mhz 100fsb works on my board. I do not have any people close by for this.

I need someone with this type of chip to help me out. Please PM me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I need the markings from the chip or prod code from box.

that is the lamest thing intel can do to u

when i rma my chip
called up
told them why
should have told them u tried it on many mobos as i told them that

then wam bam all done
within 2 weeks i got my new chip

in my opinion as long as you chip is retail and legit and u got the intel stock fan
u can fib a little saying that u have tested it to the extent that u know for sure the chip is dead and not any other hardware prob

but then again u have to make sure that it is really teh chip being dead

then u can bypass some stupid things that intel make u do

obtw did u pass you info tointel yet and did they give u a reference # yet
if so u are like pretty much out of luck
u will now have to do it the intel way
