I bought and my son installed an Intel 730 Series with 240gig cap, it came with cables and an installation disk. I decided I wanted a larger drive for my wife's laptop so I bought a 730series 480 gig drive. This time I did not get cables or software. My son informed me that the software that I used to clone the first drive can not be used again. Is that true and if it is, what can I do?
Thanks for your help,
Jim

I don't see why you can't use the same software for cloning the drive. They're both intel drives..

That is what I thought, but he told me it had a one use ID on it. I personally do not know. Hoping to find someone that had actually used it on both drives.
Thanks,
Jim

It costs nothing to try it and see. Trust but verify.

I may let my son try it, wife is a very nervous sort. (been married 50 yrs) and she would freak out if it did not work the first time. FB is her contact to the world. Rather know for sure.
Thanks,
Jim
