Need some image editing help. can anyone make this photo less grainy?

Here

i need to make the photo less grainy if possible and chop out the guy on the right.

dont do anything stupid though guys. this is for a memorial page im putting up, he was killed a month or so ago in a motorcycle accident when a woodchuck ran out in front of his bike and he hit the woodchuck. he was talking to the rescue squad but later died of internal bleeding. so that is how they know the details of how he crashed.

trying to get the image to show up. dunno why its a TIFF file.

I would leave the woodchuck out of the description and just use "animal"

You are saving it in some weird colorspace. I can't open it, but that is why

Save it in .png

i didnt scan the photo the person at the company did. why its a tif i dont know. i cant figure out anyway right now to get it to a png or jpg or anything like that.

i might just have her rescan it as something other than tif somehow

I think you have a compressed TIF file. Open it in whatever software you used, and resave it in TIff, but make sure you DO NOT use compression.

it doesnt need to be enlarged. its the only photo of him they can find right now.

You talking to me? I didn't enlarge anything. I cropped the other guy and the distracting background out.

It's not bad, it's the worst photo scan I have ever seen where the subject can still be made out.
