Ok, here is a good one. I have a brother who is a State Trooper who was involved in an incident. A guy was running from the cops driving over 100mph and on his cell-phone calling 911 claiming that the police were going to kill him because he is black. My brother, not even originally in the chase, caught the radio as the guy was headed his way. Just his luck he gets to make the stop while the four other troopers catch up. About twenty- to thirty seconds elapse between my brother pulling the guy over and the other police arriving on the scene. Anyway, the guy refuses to roll down his window or ccoperate in anyway and continues to scream into his cell-phone (which he later finds out is recorded, thankfully for my brother). Well, my brother did nothing wrong, there was no fight, no throwing anyone on the ground, and my brother thought the whole incident pretty much routine. Then my brother gets a call finding out that the guy was accusing my brother of being a racist (said that he didn't like a black man driving a mercedes!?) and forces the state to conduct a review. So, my brother has to wade through a bunch of legal cr@p for something he did not do, while tax money is spent on the investigation. He was cleared pretty quickly, but still the a$$-hole who broke the law and lied got off scot-free. So there; should people who lie about police brutality, racism, etc. be punished for manipulating the system?
