Need some home security options...

So my room has 2 doors, one leading to the outside of the house and one leading to the hallway.

What kinda options do I have if I can't install a deadbolt or similar on the door that leads to the outside? I think I recall seeing a device that acts the same way as sticking a door underneath the doorknob, anybody know what this is called?
