Lately, I've been having to reformat my computer over and over. I'll Format and install XP pro; everything will run fine for about 2 weeks, then i'll get this error upon booting up:

"Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM

You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows Setup using the original Setup CD-ROM
Select 'r' at the first screen to start repair"

Maybe a bad installation? (CD)
If anyone has any other thoughts on what could be wrong, please lemme know
thanks
