hey folks, here is the situation:

Currently running a Dual 800 as a server, a dual 400 as my wifes work station, a 600 as my own work station. I will be setting up a couple of 233s in the next week or 2, how can I get them to "AID" the dual 800. All the machines are running a flavor of Windows, so Is there a way I can get the 233s to help the Dual 800, therefor boosting it's WUs output? The Dual 800 is running W2K A. Server, and the other achines are running W2K Pro.

Just run the Seti Client on all machines - have your own mini version of a distributed computing cluster that way.
You will get the combined daily output of all machines.

Yeah you can't have those other boxes "aid" the server. The best way to get good performance out of a dual processor machine is to run the CLI version of the client in conjunction with setidriver and set the number of processes to 2. That way each processor will be working on its own work unit since having both work on one doesn't provide any bennefit because the client isn't smp optimized.
