My following is in the sig, but could i just up the settings if i wanted to. Example, right now i'm bone stock, but i just want the ram at ddr500, the ram is capable of ddr600 2.5-4-4-7 (thats what it says on the sticks). I just want to run it at ddr500. Could i just crank the cpu fsb to 250, then set the multiplier to 9x, then change the ldt/fsb ratio to 4x so i can still run 1/1 at stock speeds?

What i'm getting at is, just go from complete stock and go straight to these settings, or should i do it in increments. I'm guessing with the ram at ddr500 and the cpu technically still 2.2ghz I could just set the ram to 2-3-3-6 or 2-2-2-5, but i'm not sure.

And would it really make a difference in gaming and/or benchmarks?
