OK I don?t really have a problem I just need some info.

I have an older case. A P2 200 came in it. Now that cpu is long gone but I was planning on using the case to house a new comp. but there is a Problem. The Power Source for this case is hard wired into the on/off button of the case. I?ve never actually seen that before. Anyway its only 200w. I am planning on putting a P3 800 in it 1 or 2 HDs and a CD rom drive. Also a floppy. I was going to use a 330w PS I had lyin around. But the other one being hard wired into the start button presents a problem.

Now do you think a 200w PS from ~1998 will be able to run what I want to put in to the comp??? And if no how do I go about taking it out and wiring it so it?ll work with the new PS and mobo???

Please LMK

You have an AT style case and no modern mobo will fit in it, nor will the psu work with it. You need a new case and psu; no other options.

There was a time that you could actually find some PII - PIII motherboards with both AT and ATX power connections onboard, but I think the only place you would find one now is Ebay. Also, 200 Watt PSU probably wouldn't be adequate, and is probably close to death. You'd save yourself tons of headaches by getting a cheap $20 case from almost any online vendor.
