Athlon 1gig on a k7t turbo

pc health states are reporting the voltage as below

vcore 1.89v
voltage 0.40v
+5V 5.13v
3.3V 3.44v
+12V 12.30v

my temp is at 42 c under normal use
bought it and put it in and everything starts fine
mobo reports as 1000mhz and everything is stable.
I don't know if this chip was rate to run at 1.89v vcore or is
there an error in from the pc health stats in the bios.
can someone tell me if this is normal?????

Dude! I have this problem too! I have a Thunderbird 1.1Ghz and my K7T Turbo runs it at 1.89 volts by default. I had to get the beta overclockers bios and manually lowered the voltage to 1.550 volts and when it's set there, the board runs the CPU at 1.70 - go figure. I'd definately lower the voltage if I were you as it runs much hotter at the higher voltage. Later.

I have the same prob with my K7T Turbo and Duron 700...

From everything I've read, the default voltage on the Duron 700 should be at 1.6v but the system health reads at 1.73....also says the same thing under Sandra....

Guess I better lower the voltage too...
