i can't be 100% positive this procedure is the same, but I have an Abit TH7II-Raid mobo which I believe uses the same raid controller (Highpoint 370). Neways, its pretty simple to do really. On mine, its Ctrl-H to enter the Raid controller bios, goto "create raid array," select raid 0, leave the default block size, and it should be good to go. The raid array is too large for DOS to recognize, so you'll have to boot to your OS cd in order to partition and format it. Hope this helps

Yeah, the easy part is setting up the array, most RAID bios have an "AutoCreate" esque feature that will set it up. The longest most greuling part is formatting a hugeass partition ;)

Haha, thanx alot guys for your help... you both make it sound as easy as the manual says.... so im going to assume it is easy.

what i was also curious about, on my mobo i have 4 IDE ports, 2 primary ( i have CDrom in 1 and HDD1 in 2 ) and then 2 more ( port 3 and 4) do my HDDs need to both be in master? or master/slave? do both HDDs need to be in 3/4 or where i have them is irrelevant? anyways, if anyone could help me out with this id be very greatful =D. OH also, u guys told me to do exactly what the mobo manual said to do but i forgot to tell u about a problem i have been having... CTRL+H does NOT allow me to enter the menu at the 2nd boot screen, i have tried _countless_ times in _countless_ ways of hitting/holding CTRL+H and only 2x have i been able to enter the menu. once in the menu, my comp froze. ideas anyone? thanks alot =D

Is that what is says to use to enter the HPT Bios?... I have only used Iwill and Promise so, I am not sure about that one....

If you have 4 IDE connectors on the motherboard, 2 are regular and 2 are RAID. You want your harddrives set up as

HDD1 master
HDD2 slave
on the same cable, going to the PRIMARY RAID port... probably port 3 or port 1.

Put your CD on the regular port.

Not having enough drives or any on the raid controller might be preventing u from entering the BIOS.
